Ironwood

This song kind of has a Lily Allen type voice to it. It is simple. It has a simple build. It talks about my love for Suburbs, and how no matter how far we go, we will miss it and want to come back to it. It has a summer-ish feeling and it's like a better written version of Friday by Rebecca Black. hahaha. :)

Summer sun dancing on my skin
stereo in the back of my recyclable Good Earth bag
Life is good, life is swimming just fine

BRIDGE:
This road is well traveled one,
and I seem to get so much use, that's made out of it
A genuine good time and the dog that barks 2 door downs
has never made this suburban neighborhood look so good...

CHORUS:
We can keep on dancing.
We can keep on singing
as we dance through the streets on Ironwood.
Taking off my flip flops
and I never grow tired of dancing with bare feet
on the pavement on the streets
and there's pouring rain
like no other and we've skipping with each other
on the streets of Ironwood

Filling up my empty agenda with the plans coming from my phone.
I get on my bicycle on the road
and I get ready for a time out
My own version of morning life. A day life. A nightlife. ha.

BRIDGE:
This road is well traveled one,
and I seem to get so much use, that's made out of it
A genuine good time and the dog that barks 2 door downs
has never made this suburban neighborhood look so good...

CHORUS:
We can keep on dancing.
We can keep on singing
as we dance through the streets on Ironwood.
Taking off my flip flops
and I never grow tired of dancing with bare feet
on the pavement on the streets
and there's pouring rain
like no other and we've skipping with each other
on the streets of Ironwood

People seem to complain about how much they hate home,
but I can't help smile when I think about this fun road
where memories flood down it's lanes..
After a long time absence,
I just keep singing...

BRIDGE:
This road is well traveled one,
and I seem to get so much use, that's made out of it
A genuine good time and the dog that barks 2 door downs
has never made this suburban neighborhood look so good...

CHORUS:
We can keep on dancing.
We can keep on singing
as we dance through the streets on Ironwood.
Taking off my flip flops
and I never grow tired of dancing with bare feet
on the pavement on the streets
and there's pouring rain
like no other and we've skipping with each other
on the streets of Ironwood
